Who are Vaco Loco?

Vaco Loco is owned and run by Paul Maddox, based in Hereford, England. I have many years experience with website design, and with my previous company I was responsible for a large set of intranet pages. But due to various poor decisions at the management level, the design was poor, messy and almost impossible to navigate.
So I set up Vaco Loco with the aim of showing the world how website design should be done correctly.

Why should you use our services?

A good question. We believe we can offer a level of service over and above other website design companies. A personal service, with a site that is tailored to your exact needs.
We also have extremely high levels of quality with our work, the work we do for your site is not only an advert for you and your company, but also for my company and my work. So, it's in my interest to do the best I can.

What is all this about W3C standards?

A few years back companies who made internet browsers made their browsers that supported their own standards. Eventually these companies all agreed on a standard, well in fact several standards, but with the effect that most browsers will now show well written HTML code the same, regardless of operating system or software company.
This means it is in your interest, if every one of your site's visitors get the same look and feel, then you'll get more customers.

Who does all the work?

I do the HTML/XHTML/XML/CSS code, I also do some graphic design and translation. But for bigger jobs, I have a team of colleagues who I have worked with before, and who I know can offer a professional, high quality service.
In short, you'll get a high quality, professional, service, whether the job is small or large.

Why Vaco Loco?

That's easy, it's a play on my name MADD-OX, vaco loco is spanish for "mad cow".
